Special Note: Sarah Ann Featon (c. 1848–1927) was an English-born NZ botanical artist who made a significant contribution to the documentation of New Zealand's native flora. She is best known for her work in "The Art Album of New Zealand Flora" (1889), which she co-created with her surveyor husband, Edward Featon. This publication was groundbreaking as it was the first full-colour art book to be printed and published within New Zealand. Sarah lived her latter years out in Gisborne
